Crystina's Bread & Blessings delivers the goods

Three weeks ago, Clatskanie resident Crystina Davis opened Crystina's Bread & Blessings. Specializing in cakes, sourdough bread, pretzels, bagels and more, Davis wishes to share her passion for baking with others. Baking only twice a week, Sunday night to Monday morning and Thursday night to Friday morning, Davis can take up to six orders at a time. While items can be available for pick up, Davis delivers not only in Clatskanie but as far as Rainier and Longview as well. As far as the menu, Crystina's Bread & Blessings offers bagels for $2.50 each, $10 for a half dozen, and $18 per dozen. Bread is $12-15 per loaf, depending on the selection. Davis also offers English muffin bread for $10 per loaf. For those interested in pretzels, Crystina's Bread & Blessings offers giant pretzels for $4 each or 3 for $10 and pretzel bites for $6 a bag. Davis also offers dinner rolls at $8 per dozen.

For those with a sweet tooth, Crystina's Bread & Blessings offers waffle and pancake packs for $10. According to Davis, each pack serves from four to six people. She also serves chocolate chip cookies, which are $8 per dozen. Finally, Crystina's Bread & Blessings offers peanut butter cream pies for $4.

"It is such a blessing to have a new home cottage business in my town," said Davis, who encourages others to seek information about starting their own home cottage business by visiting the Cottage Food Exemption link on the state's website (oregon.gov).
