Cathlamet Public Library

“Free? Did you say free?” Yes, if you’re a Wahkiakum County resident you can check out physical books for free at the Cathlamet Public Library. But that’s not all! You can also check out eBooks, emagazines and audio books for free! It doesn’t matter if you live in Skamokawa, Cathlamet, Svendsen’s Landing, Rosburg, Upper or Lower Elochoman, Altoona, Grays River, Flandersville, Eagle Cliff, Deep River, Waterford, Oneida, Puget Island, Eden Valley, Cape Horn or any other locale in Wahkiakum County. You can come into the library or go online and check out books for free.

If you don’t have a free Cathlamet Public Library card, no problem. Just drop in and we’ll provide you with a free card. With your library card so you can read and listen to books for free.

If you prefer to use your phone or an e-reader, the Libby app is your gateway to accessing eBooks and audio books. When you come in and get your library card we’ll show you how to download the Libby app to check out those free books.

Also, don’t forget the Johnson Park Library in Rosburg where you can check out physical books for free. Carillon Nicol and other volunteers are doing wonderful work there for the community. The hours are Tuesday and Thursday 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and starting in February, Monday 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
