Cathlamet Public Library Shoutouts!

To The Eagle,

Does our Library just kinda happen each week? Does anyone really have to do much to make it work? Silly thoughts! Here are some people and groups who have recently helped to keep the library working:

Cheryl, who made pillow covers for the library teen section. She also donated craft supplies, Christmas lights, and a lot of time. Heather; who donated puzzles, craft supplies, a brochure holder and her time during the holiday season. Robin; who donated a live tree, decorations, books, and a lot of her time during the holiday season. Puget Island Gardens; who donated seeds for the library flower beds, holiday greenery, and our beautiful new apple tree. Shane and the Dollar General Crew, who donated seeds for the seed library. Delphine of Little Island Creamery; who donated a magnificent mushroom puzzle to start the library perpetual puzzle and several plants. Sue Docker, who donated Christmas decorations to the library. Beth Asigri, who gifted an Amazon gift card to the library for Christmas decorations. Willapa Hills Audubon Society, who donated two junior birdwatching kits for kids.

And that’s not all! Did you know we have a Public Library Board? Yes, we do! Many people have served on this Board as Trustees. The library board would like to thank a few people who have stepped aside from their duties as board trustees: Robin Westphall, Jill Semlick, Arlene Sauer and Carolyn Holt. Thank you to everyone in our wonderful community who help and keep our library running each week. Fun fact: 724 physical materials were checked out in December.
