The Clatskanie People’s Utility District met on Wednesday, November 20 where the Board of Directors reviewed and unanimously approved the budget for 2025. After reviewing recent policy changes which consisted of minor language updates and alterations to ensure compliance with recent law updates, the Board of Directors unanimously accepted the policy changes.
Director of Energy Resources Chris Roden recently received the Public Power Council Hero Award on behalf of Pacific Northwest utilities negotiating the structure and product offerings in the post-2028 BPA power contracts. Chief Operating Officer Sarah Johnson says of Chris, “He is a strong advocate for Clatskanie PUD’s best interests and other utilities in the region that utilize the BPA Slice Power Contracts.”
