Muffins with the Mayor next Friday

Mayor David Olson will host another open forum with muffins and coffee at noon on Friday October 11 in the meeting room at the Cottage Bread and Breakfast, 380 Una Ave, Cathlamet. Citizens, residents or anyone interested are invited to drop by for complimentary muffins and coffee to discuss issues, ask questions, or raise any concerns regarding the activities of the Town of Cathlamet or any challenges facing the community.

The Mayor has invited the PUD to send a representative to the forum in light of the critical importance of the issue to continuance of Town services and the degree of community interest. Mayor Olson states “These open forums are to spark citizen discussion and input, as well as information exchange. Given current issues, including the proposed consolidation of Town utilities under the PUD and the impact on Town services, I hope the PUD accepts my invitation to send a representative. These informal commnity discussions provide an excellent opportunity for citizens to ask questions, provide feedback and exchange views with the Mayor and other attendees. Further forums are planned in 2025.
