Shel Silverstein is coming to town!

The Pioneer Community Association is excited to announce their first children’s musical theatre camp, Shel Silverstein: Poems & Songs running July 8-12. Town Council member Joe Baker is the Artistic Director. Baker brings over 40 years of experience directing such musicals as Annie, The Wizard of Oz, The Sound of Music, Godspell, and Anne of Green Gables. Delee Baker will choreograph.

In addition to teaching dance and aerobics during the school year in the Kent School District, Delee brings several years’ experience choreographing for K-6 summer drama camps in the Seattle area.Rehearsals will be held from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Cathlamet PioneerCenter (behind the Library). The cost is $25.00.

Participants should bring water, snacks, and a sack lunch each day. Registration forms can be pickedup at the Cathlamet Public Library or on-line at the Pioneer Community Association Facebook page. The performance will be held on July 12 at 6:00pm in the Cathlamet Pioneer Center.
