The Wahkiakum Mules volleyball team added two more to their loss column by Monday, bringing their record to 0-15 overall. A final game at home on Wednesday, too late for press time, ended their season.
Hosting Winlock last Thursday, the Mules got their first set win of the season, but lost the next three to lose the match, despite some close scores.
“The girls were pretty disappointed as they felt that with a few tweaks the outcome could have come out with a win for us, but overall it was a good match,” Coach Kayli Hurley said.
Standouts included Amirah Abdul Kariem, Zaya Ray and Hailee Nielsen.
“Jessie LaFever was strong in the backcourt and my setters, Makayla Davis and Sam DeLa Cruz showed big growth,” she said.
On Monday, the Mules traveled to Kalama and lost to the Chinooks in three sets. There was no report.
The Mules played their final game of the season on Wednesday night at home against Morton/White Pass.
