Donna Burns

Longtime Cathlamet resident, Donna Louise Burns, 88, died September 25, 2023 at her home. She was born in Kansas City, Kansas, on March 23, 1935. Her family came to the Elochoman Valley when she was a child. She married LeRoy Burns in 1960 and they owned and operated Burns Rock in Cathlamet for many years, passing it to their son upon retirement. She enjoyed her home, sewing, and caring for her lawn. She was a devout Christian.

Donna is survived by husband LeRoy, a son Les, a sister Doloris Wages, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter Lisa Wiborg, and a sister, Dorothy Trimble. The family will hold a private graveside service.
