What's happening at the Fair?

Greetings from the fair office, wow, May is here, that means we only have three months until the fair. Hope everyone is getting ready to enter stuff in this year's fair.

This will be a busy month at the fairgrounds. We will have a cleanup day on May 20. Anyone who wants to join us for the cleanup day can show up at 10 a.m., and we will find you a task to do. We serve lunch at noon.

We are getting excited about the 4th Annual "Cruzin To The Fair Car Show" which is happening June 3. If you need a registration you can email the fairgrounds and I will send you one, (wahkiakumfair@gmail.com). Pre-registration is due by May 26. The first 100 cars entered will get goody bags.

On June 13 we will hold our monthly Flea Market and T-Building Sale so make sure you come out and grab some treasures. It starts at 9 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m. On June 20 we will start the Farmer's Market at the fairgrounds and a Junk in the Trunk sale. All vendor spaces are free; just let me know if you are interested by emailing the fair or calling (360)795-3480.

Mark your calendars for Friday July 14. The 2nd annual Mud Wrestling will take place at 3:30 p.m., and will be followed by the "Shania Experience" which is a tribute band to Shania Twain. Tickets will be $15 for both events and will be on sale soon.

Also don't forget the "Smoke On The Water Music Fest" Labor Day weekend; you can purchase tickets at smokeonthewater.com.

We are still looking for Fair Royalty. Anyone interested please call the office.
