Department of Ecology approves SMP for town

The Washington State Department of Ecology (Ecology) has announced its final action approving Town of Cathlamet Shoreline Master Program (SMP) periodic review.

The Town has conducted a periodic review of its SMP under RCW 90.58.080(4) and adopted Findings of Adequacy. Ecology concurs with the Town of Cathlamet and affirms all procedural steps in conducting the periodic review have been followed consistent with RCW 90.58.080(4) and WAC 173-26-090.

On March 16, the department published a legal notice in The Wahkiakum County Eagle that started the 30-day appeal period.
