Comet basketball teams fighting to qualify for regional playoffs

The Naselle Comets boys and girls postseason continued this week.

Last Wednesday, the Naselle boys beat Firm Foundation 71-45. On Tuesday, they lost to Mossyrock 78-45. The Comets head to Montesano on Friday to play in a loser out game at 5:30 p.m. against an opponent that has yet to be determined. The winner of that game will play one more game on Saturday at 2 p.m. in Montesano and be guaranteed a berth at regional games.

The Naselle girls basketball team beat Three Rivers Christian 81-34 on Thursday. The following Tuesday, they lost to Mossyrock 68-24. They will face Taholah on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in Montesano in a loser out game, with the winner getting a regional game.
