This is a great opportunity to learn more about plants, meet great people and serve your community, but most of all, have a lot of fun. You will receive over 90 hours of training on all aspects of gardening from edible and ornamental plants to composting and environmental issues, from plant health care to problem identification and management.
The first step is to find out more about the expectations and opportunities of the WSU Master Gardener program. Orientation sessions (free) will discuss the program expectations, training schedule, costs, provide applications and answer questions and are offered on (only attend one):
· December 2, 10:00 a.m. (Friday)
· December 16, 10:00 a.m. (Friday)
Pick one session and let organizers know which one you can attend. If you have any questions or need more information, contact Gary Fredricks, 577-3014 ext. 3.
Master Gardener Training classes will be held in Longview every Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. from late January till June.
