LCC announces Northwest Voices event

Lower Columbia College has announced that Author, Poet and Artist Krysten Ralston will be featured at the October 18 Northwest Voices event in Longview. The event features the author’s latest work, Ink Blots.

The author will present a writing workshop at 4:00 p.m. in Main 148 on the Lower Columbia College campus.

She will hold a reading at the Longview Public Library auditorium at 7:00 p.m.

Both events are free and open to the public.

Krysten Ralston was born in Mobile, Alabama into a military family and spent many of her formative years moving between states. When she was 10, the family settled in Washington state where she currently resides. She has been a storyteller for as long as she can remember, and has been a writer since she could hold a pencil. She studied English with a focus in Creative Writing at Washington State University. In addition to being a writer, Ralston is an artist, a coffee connoisseur, a nature lover, a wife and mother, and a dreamer.
