PROUD MOM--Jonnie Knowles just found out that her daughter, Kristi Langston, will soon be headed to southern Florida where she will be part of a "search & recovery" team after Hurricane Ian devastated that part of the state. We will keep her in our thoughts as she deals with this difficult task, but with 17 years of experience in the fire department and EMT world, we know she'll be making her Mom proud again as she deals with this most unpleasant task.
SYMPATHIES--We'd like to send our sincere condolences to the family of Patty Renfro who passed away last week. Once again, we have lost an "Island Girl" all too soon. RIP, Patty.
