Greetings from the fair office. The fair was a huge success. A huge thank you to all the volunteers for all their hard work to make the fair so wonderful. Without the volunteers the fair wouldn't be so wonderful. The new ride and bouncy house were a huge hit with the kids. Thank you to Sheriff Howie for sitting in the dunk tank. Thank you to the Fair King Devin Helms and Queens Aubree Helms and Emily Kangas for doing such a wonderful job and raising over $10,000 for the fair. A huge thank you to Lakeside for getting the paving done by the fair. The new pavement looks awesome. Now I will start working on next year's fair. We are looking for fair themes, so if you would like to submit one email it to the fair office (wahkiakumfiar@gmail.com).

Premium checks are ready for pickup. I will be in the office Saturday September 24 from 10 a.m., until noon; please come and grab your checks. The Fair board paid 39 cents per point this year. Thank you to everyone who entered in the fair.
The next Flea Market is October 8. Tables are still only $10. Call the office if you would like one. On October 29 we will hold the Halloween Carnival from 4 to 7 p.m. We will have a costume contest, games and treats so mark your calendars and come have some fun at the carnival.
