Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891
The Cowlitz-Wahkiakum Council of Governments (CWCOG) has published a Transportation Priorities Survey to better understand transportation system needs and help prioritize future funding for transportation projects or programs over the next 25 plus years. Results from the survey will be used to develop an updated Metropolitan and Regional Transportation Plan for Cowlitz, Grays Harbor, Lewis, Pacific, and Wahkiakum Counties in Washington and the City of Rainier in Oregon. Rainier is part of the Longview-Kelso-Rainier metropolitan area. Everyone is strongly encouraged to take a few minutes and complete the survey. Sharing your transportation experiences can lead to positive change for our region. The survey is available at the following website: http://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MovingForward2050.
The CWCOG is a multi-purpose association of governments that delivers a diverse array of federal, state, and local programs while fulfilling its primary function as a regional planning organization.
The Transportation Priorities Survey may also be accessed online at http://www.cwcog.org where there are web links to an English and Spanish version of the survey. Questions or requests for the survey in paper form may be directed to Robert Stevens at CWCOG by regular mail at PO Box 128, Kelso, WA 98626, via email to rstevens@cwcog.org, or by FAX at (360) 214-3425.
