Joyce Lucille Keeling Bolton, 85 years old, passed away peacefully at home in Rosburg, WA on July 30, 2022.
Born in Walhalla, North Dakota, she was the daughter of Allen and Lenna Keeling. She was raised in Walhalla, North Dakota where she graduated from in 1954. She retired as a bookkeeper for the Hackbarth Company.
She married Norman Louis Bolton on September 21st , 1956 and they have lived in Cucamonga, California, Corona, California, and finally Rosburg, Washington. During their union, four children were born, Keith, Loreen, Lisa, and Leslie. Norman and Joyce shared 65 years of marriage.
Joyce and Norman were active after retirement, travelling and square dancing. She also enjoyed quilting and was a member of the Rosburg Ladies Club, Grays River Grange, owned the Bolton Pines Christmas Tree Farm in Corona, California and owned and ran the Rosburg Store from 2011 – 2014.
She is preceded in death by her parents Allen and Lenna; brothers Wayne and Howard Keeling; brother-in-law Hilary Krala.
She is survived by her husband Norman; brothers Jack Keeling and Chuck (Mary Jane) Keeling; sisters Aline Krala, Ann (Cliff) Colwell, and Kathryn Mooney; sister-in-law Betty Keeling; children; Keith (Nina) Bolton, Loreen Higgins, Lisa (Rich) Northness, and Leslie (Larry) Long; grandchildren Renee (Brian) Baldwin, Steven O’Hare, Joshua Bolton, Kyle (Jackee) Chiatovich, Gary (Chamille) Chiatovich, Cassie (Jonathan) Chandler, Delawrence Long and Sabella Long; great grandchildren Drew Baldwin, Kaleb Baldwin, Eli Baldwin, Seth Baldwin, Rylan Chandler, Kinslee Chandler, Elise Chiatovich, Ezra Chiatovich, and Presley Chiatovich; great great grandchildren Oakley Baldwin and Adaline Baldwin.
She will always be remembered for her gentle soul and the love for her family.
Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 25th, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. located at Valley Bible Church: 4723 WA-4, Rosburg, WA 98643. Memorial Donations/in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Jude’s Medical Center.
