One new case this week
The cumulative number of cases of covid-19 being reported by the Washington Department of Health for Wahkiakum County rose by one this week to 599.

The total number of hospitalizations remained at 41 over the last week, as did the number of deaths attributed to the virus, which stands at nine.
While state DOH is reporting that 69.1 percent of the total population of Washington State received the primary series of the vaccination, only 51.5 percent of Wahkiakum County has done so.
