A new Hunter Education Course is scheduled for July 30 and August 6 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Elochoman Slough Marina covered area.
This is a traditional course designed for new or inexperienced hunters, however, anyone who wishes can take the course.
The course includes handling firearms safely, conservation, sportsmanship and field training. This is considered an outside venue with the use of masks optional.
All students must pre-register online at WDFW-hunting-hunter ed-traditional course.
Anyone born after January 1, 1972, that wishes to purchase a hunting license in Washington State must take and pass a Hunter Ed course.
