PIGYS weekend

Puget Island roads were busy last Friday and Saturday as bargain hunters arrived for the annual Puget Island Garage and Yard Sale. You have to see it to believe it, one savvy seller's signs read, bringing shoppers in on Saturday morning.

There was more to see than garage sales on Puget Island on Saturday morning: the beauty of the river, deer grazing in the shade, a cow that appeared to be enjoying the sunshine, and a group of cyclists out for a ride.

Libby and Terina Davis claimed the Longbottom Coffee basket prize in the Puget Island Fire Department raffle.
