WHS Mule Softball

The Wahkiakum Mules softball team is a young bunch, and with five eighth graders, three freshman, and three juniors on the team, Coach Garrett Miller feels it’s important to ease into the season. So while the season is supposed to begin today, the Lady Mules took advantage of an opportunity to play last week when a mixed varsity and junior varsity R.A. Long team rolled into town.

The Lumberjills took the game, 13-9.

On Thursday, (today), the Lady Mules will travel to Morton/White Pass and tomorrow (Friday), they host the Naselle Comets. They will have next week off, with spring break, and games will resume on April 11.
