Johnson Park news

Johnson Park is getting into the swing of being open for events.

Last year we had a very good turnout for our bingo night, and our Christmas craft day. Thank you to all that attended these events. This year we are looking forward to having more.

March 19 from 9-4 p.m. is our annual Super Sale. It is time to book a table to reserve your space. All tables must be paid in advance to hold your spot. Set up time is the night before from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday morning from 7-9. To reserve a table call Denise Blanchard 360-355-0472 cell or leave a message at Johnson Park 360-465-2310.

Also coming up is Easter craft day April 9 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Flyers will be posted soon.

Our Janitor Diane Sears has been really busy painting the upper hallway and the lower hallway. With help from Denise Blanchard it is looking really nice. It is not all finished yet, but should be by the Super Sale. Our maintenance man Wes Ware has done a beautiful job of staining the wood in the upper hallway.

Naselle High School shop has been working hard to get all the name plates for the doors at Johnson Park. This is from the contest we had a few years ago to name the rooms from past teachers, janitors, etc., who have taught since the opening until it closed. I am sure when they are put up you will recognize a lot of them. Something exciting to look forward to, and reminiscing about the good ole days.

Come and enjoy the time with family and friends.
