Shop with a Cop

The Wahkiakum County Sheriff's Office hosted another successful Shop With a Cop event over the weekend, perhaps the largest ever, according to Sheriff Mark Howie. "With the help of a Walmart grant and local donors, we were able to treat 30 kids to a wonderful day of shopping with deputies and fire/EMS personnel," Howie said. "Kids were able to buy gifts for their household family members and themselves in a festive and supportive atmosphere, and afterwards, treated to Poppa Pete's Pizza!"
