Diana Weber

Diana M. Weber, Olympia, died November 19, 2021 after a long illness. She was born May 5, 1956 in Salida, Colorado to Dwight and Shirley Williams. They lived in Climax, Colorado until the town was moved to Leadville. She attended the Lake County schools where she graduated at the top of her class in 1974. Diana attended The University of Colorado and received a BS in Journalism with Honors in 1978.

In Leadville she was the Editor and General Manager of The Lake County Citizen Newspaper and then the Manager of the Chamber of Commerce. While in Cathlamet, she was Recording Deputy of the Cowlitz County Auditor. After moving to Clayton, NC Diana became a Regional Manager & Communications Specialist of SHIP for the Insurance Commissioner. In Olympia, Diana was the Field Operations Supervisor of SHIBA for the Insurance Commissioner.

Weber is survived by her husband of 43 years Charles W. Weber, her daughter Tiffany Weber of Seattle, her sister Donna Seter of Highlands Ranch, CO, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Dwight and Shirley Williams.

She also loved her dogs, Margot & Meggie, until they passed of old age, years earlier. Diana was known to be sweet, honest, patient, and a good listener. Diana was very close to her husband, daughter, and friends. She had a love of reading, and found great fulfillment in helping the elderly through her later career. She will be missed profoundly by her family and friends.

Prior to her death Diana requested to be cremated with no formal funeral service or memorial.
