A hunter education course is scheduled for August 28 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and August 29 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Elochoman Marina covered area.
This is a traditional course designed for new or inexperienced hunters and includes handling firearms safely, conservation, sportsmanship and field training.
Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife state guidelines for Covid-19 will be followed. Further information is available in the registration notice.
All students must pre-register online at WDFW-hunting-hunter ed-traditional course.
Anyone born after January 1, 1972 who wishes to purchase a hunting license in Washington State must take and pass a hunter education course.
