On the water

There was a small but enthusiastic response to the 2021 Wooden Boat Show at the Elochoman Slough Marina this weekend, and organizers-which included Allen Bennett and Julius Dalzell of the Lower Columbia Chapter of the Traditional Small Craft Association, as well as members of the Cathlamet Yacht Club-were pleased.

There were 16 boats on display, according to CYC member Dean Carmine, and someone came from as far as Eugene, Oregon this year to show off his vessel, Bennett said.
