Lady Mules demolish 3 opponents

The Wahkiakum Mules girls basketball team faced three challengers this week and won their games easily.

Last Wednesday, they beat Toutle Lake at home, 72-21.

Reigha Niemeyer scored 20 points. Megan Leitz had 13 points, Paige Mace had 10 points, six assists, and five steals. Kamryn Watkins added 10 points. Emmie Niemela had six points, 14 rebounds, and five steals. Miya Kerstetter scored five points. Jansi Merz had three points and nine rebounds. Jordyn Watson had three points. Kimberlee Watkins added two points.

On Friday, the Lady Mules demolished Kalama 77-9.

Mace scored 24 points and had six steals. Merz had 17 points and 10 rebounds. Niemeyer had 10 points. Courtney Carlson had six points. Arrow Rose had four points. Niemela had four points and five steals. Kamryn Watkins had three points, Bailey McKinley added three points. Kimberlee Watkins had two points and Leitz had two points and five assists.

On Tuesday, the girls traveled to Winlock and won 60-11.

Mace had 18 points, nine assists and six steals. Merz had 14 points, seven rebounds, and three blocks. Niemela had 10 points and six steals. Kimberlee Watkins scored six points. Kamryn Watkins and Courtney Carlson had three points apiece, and Leitz added two.

The Lady Mules entertain Adna tonight (Thursday); they head to Rainier on Saturday and to Onalaska on Tuesday; they'll entertain Morton/White Pass next Thursday.
