Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891
WSU Master Gardeners are offering a worm composting kit for $30, which contains everything you need to begin your vermiculture experience including the finished worm bin; healthy red wiggler worms; as well as food, bedding, and other bin amendments. The instructional workshop, handout, and box assembly instruction video link will be provided when you pick up your kits in Longview on April 3. You can purchase it here: https://worm-composting-bin.cheddarup.com.
Attending the Free Online Workshop on March 31 at 6:00 p.m. will give you the information you need about worm composting and maintaining your worms. After watching the step-by-step video instruction for assembling your own bin from the workshop kit, you will be ready to embark upon the experience of raising these prolific little worms, and harvesting their compost for your garden. They strongly recommend that you attend the workshop on 3/31 as you will have the opportunity to ask questions.
