Mule Cross Country

The four member Wahkiakum Mules Cross Country team traveled to Rainier last Thursday to compete in a 5,000 meter race with five other schools.

For the girls, senior Ellie Wiltse-Hiatt took third in a field of 14 runners with a time of 24:19. Junior Kimberlee Watkins finished in 12th place with a time of 36:35 and sophomore Kamryn Watkins came in 14th place with a time of 42:03.

Freshman Nathan Garrett placed 24th in a field of 37 competitors with a time of 23:21 in the boy’s race.

The Mules travel to Toledo today (Thursday) for a Central 2B meet.
