Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891
The Cowlitz-Wahkiakum Council of Governments (CWCOG) will conduct a series of business forums over the course of the year, focusing on recovery and resilience for businesses in the region.
Forums will generally cover updates on grant and loan options for continuing operation, legislation that may affect businesses, and other topics that may be of interest to local business owners. The most significant portion of time in each forum is reserved for business owners wanting to share their thoughts and experiences with other members of the business community, as well as with CWCOG staff who will use it to guide the development of the series over the year.
The first forum is scheduled to take place on Thursday, February 11 at 6 p.m., with subsequent forums likely taking place during the second week of each month thereafter.
To register for the first forum, visit http://www.cwcog.org and follow the registration link under Current Events on the homepage. To request a pre-forum consultation, use the Contact Us form on their website or send an email to cwcog@cwcog.org with your request.
The CWCOG is a multi-purpose association of governments that delivers a diverse array of federal, state and local programs while fulfilling its primary function as a regional planning organization.
Those needing special accommodations to participate in this process should call 360-577-3041 by 5:00 p.m., February 8. Ask for the ADA Coordinator. For TDD users, access the state's toll-free relay service, (800) 833-6388, and ask the operator to dial 360-956-7575.
