Student of the month

The Wahkiakum Lions Club has announced Shannon Dela Cruz as The December Lions Student of the Month. She is a highly motivated student who is involved with the National Honor Society who took on the project of creating blankets for The Phoenix Childrens Hospital. Shannon plans to attend Arizona State University in the nursing program and become a Nurse Anesthetist. She is from the Philippines and speaks three languages.
