After years of permitting, pumping of dredged sand along eroding Pancake Point properties commenced on the upriver end of the project at 10 a.m. Saturday, area resident Paul Vik reported. A 24 hour time out for Sunday was observed, Vik said, and work resumed at 6 a.m. Monday.
