Lloyd Benjamin

Lloyd David “Buzz” Benjamin died July 24, 2020 at the age of 73.

He was born in Cass Lake, Minnesota to Ernest Edmund Benjamin, and Margaret Helen Benjamin.

He graduated from Cass Lake High School and then joined the United States Air Force. In the Air Force he served for nine years at which time he was sent to the Vietnam War. He married Nancy and from this union Jodi was born. Lloyd received his Bachelors degree from the University of Central Oklahoma. He dedicated over 50 years of his life to the field of Cosmetology, even becoming the director of a Cosmetology School.

Lloyd was a service officer for the VFW. He also enjoyed coaching any kind of sports when needed but coached Pop Warner Football regularly. Lloyd had a contagious sense of humor.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ernest Edmund Benjamin, mother, Margaret Helen Benjamin, and his brother, Ernest (Benny) Benjamin.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Benjamin of Midwest City, Oklahoma, daughter, Jodi (Brian) McClain of Skamokawa, sister, Marlene Kreps of Montecello, Minnesota, brother, Donald Lee (Velma) Benjamin, brother-in-law, Kenneth Geary of Hillsboro, Texas, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
