A virtual personal financial management class will begin for Wahkiakum County residents this month. The course will be live classes, led online by an expert instructor, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., June 23 through July 9.
Participants will receive a $25 stipend for attending all sessions. The class will cover budgeting, credit repair, home ownership, insurance, debt management and investing.
The course was developed by longtime financial management specialists at the 30-year-old non-profit educational group, Enterprise for Equity. This class was brought to Wahkiakum County this year with support from WSU Wahkiakum County Extension and Wahkiakum County Health and Human Services.
