Kid's garden workshop: Growing food from scraps

After the meal is prepared, what do you do with the food scraps? On May 29 from 12:00 – 12:30 p.m., WSU Master Gardener Karen Adams will show how to take plants that have been harvested to grow new plants. Learn about cell growth and how plants can grow without using seeds.

The program can be accessed on-line by Zoom or by calling in by phone. To register for free, contact Gary Fredricks at garyf@wsu.edu or 360-577-3014 Ext. 3 for connection information.

The workshop is sponsored by Washington State University Extension Master Gardeners.
