Wrestlers earn medals

Wahkiakum High School wrestlers continue to bring home medals.

On Friday the Lady Mules traveled to Longview for the R.A. Long Lumberjill tournament. Makayla Davis took first place in her division, and Jenna Mellis placed second in her class.

On Saturday, the team headed to Napavine for competition. For the girls, Davis took first in her division, and Mellis took second. For the boys, Braxton Johns finished in second place in his weight class, and Cayden Mendez took third place in his division.

The Mules head to Willapa Harbor for another tournament on Saturday.
