Community Home Health & Hospice is offering a free, six-week grief recovery group titled Walk through Grief. Class starts Tuesday, March 31, from 1-3 p.m., and continues weekly through May 5, 2020.
This grief support group provides the opportunity to process grief caused by loss. and creates a safe environment in which to look at old beliefs about grief and receive new tools to complete unresolved emotions that may still be causing pain. This group will be facilitated by a trained Grief Recovery Specialist. Pre-registration is required.
CHH & H also offers a free, eight-week survivors of suicide loss group. Class starts Wednesday, January 22, 2020, from 3-5 p.m., and continues weekly through March 11, 2020.
Community Home Health & Hospice offers small group support sessions focused on the profound grieving process of suicide bereavement. The group is led by experienced, licensed medical social workers. Once started, sessions are closed to allow for a safe emotional setting. Pre-registration is required.
Sessions for both groups will be held at the James Avery Center, 1000 – 12th Ave., Longview.
