Kick off your Christmas shopping at "A Country Christmas," St. James' annual bazaar, this Saturday, Nov. 23, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a great variety of gift items to choose from including handcrafted jewelry, vintage collectibles, art note cards, coasters, decorative towels and aprons, welcome signs, metal and wire ornaments, bowl cozy's, etc. There will also be a number of raffle baskets offered, including Mule, Spa, Cookie Time, Tea Time, County Bounty and a Pink Unicorn basket to name a few.
The Children's Christmas Store will be open to children 12 and under, no parents allowed; nothing priced over $1.00. Helpers will assist children with choosing and wrapping gifts. A bake sale will feature Scandinavian and holiday goodies. Donnie Wages will play his Dulcimer from 9:30 to 11:30 and there will be Christmas music playing throughout the day.
Lunch will be available from 11:30 to 3:30-Shannon's clam chowder, nachos, chili, hot dogs, desserts, hot cider and coffee.
Bazaar proceeds will benefit St. James Family Center's programs for children and families. The event takes place at 1134 Columbia Street, Cathlamet.
