Comets face Crescent on Saturday

The 9-0 Naselle Comet football team starts the Class 1B football playoffs Saturday, 3 p.m., at Stewart Field, Aberdeen, against the 5-5 Crescent Loggers. The Comets defeated Crescent 56-14 earlier this season. The season is over for the loser; the winner goes on to Class 1B State Tournament quarterfinals November 22-23.
