Herrera-Beutler, Walsh speaking to veterans

To The Eagle:

There will be two Veterans Day ceremonies tomorrow, Friday, Nov. 8. The first one is at the Wahkiakum High School at 10 a.m. in the high school gym. All community veterans and spouses are welcome. After the assembly, there will be a luncheon available for veterans. Washington State Representative Jim Walsh will be speaking.

The second one is at the Naselle-Grays River Valley School at 1:30 p.m. in the gymnasium. Again, all community veterans and spouses are welcome. After the ceremony, there will be refreshments available. United States Congresswoman Jamie Herrera Beutler will be speaking. This year, Vietnam veterans are strongly encouraged to attend. At each ceremony they will be honored with special 50-year commemorative Vietnam War pins given out by Rep. Walsh and Congresswoman Herrera Beutler.
