Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891
Oregon has about 500 different species of bees. The exact number of bee species in Oregon is unknown. Much of the state has been poorly surveyed. The Oregon Bee Atlas’ five year mission is to train volunteers to generate museum quality records with a complete inventory of the bees of the state.
Learn more about the Oregon Bee Atlas in the Netul River Room at the Fort Clatsop Visitor Center on Wednesday, November 13 from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.
