Farmers Market at Elochoman Marina ends its season on Friday

The farmers market will end its season this Friday, and this will be the last chance for shoppers to stop by the Elochoman Slough Marina to pick up meat, fresh vegetables, honey, handmade soap and more from local vendors this year.

It will also be the last opportunity this year for people to use their senior and WIC vouchers at this particular venue.

Traffic has slowed at the market since the beginning of September, and Mackenzie Jones, who organizes the event, is hoping to make the last market day a good one.

“We want to have a good end to the season,” Jones said. “I’m already planning for next year.”

The Elochoman Marina Farmers Market is this Friday, from 4-7 p.m.
