Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891
The Wahkiakum Youth Mini-Mules Football team plays its only home game this season on Saturday, 3 p.m. at Wahkiakum High School.
Composed of athletes in the 3rd through 6th grades, the team is entering its third game of the season with a 2-0 record. On Sept. 14, the team beat Toutle Lake 30-14 and they followed up with a close 12-6 win against Woodland last Saturday.
The Mini-Mules will face off against an undefeated Longview team.
Prior to the Mini-Mules' game, there are two other regional games at 12 noon and 1:30 p.m. All fans are invited to enjoy football starting at noon and cheer the future of Mule football at 3 p.m. Concessions will be available.
