Lady Mules sweep Naselle Lady Comets

The Wahkiakum Mules volleyball team beat the Naselle Comets in three sets 25-11, 25-20, and 25-14 in their first home match of the season on Tuesday night.

Jansi Merz led the team with 13 kills. Jordyn Watson had two kills, was 100 percent from the service line, and received praise from Coach Kayli Hurley for her serve receive. Nalani Schultz also had two kills. Solana Stanley and M.J. Neves were 100 percent from the service line, and Shantelle Shervey, Amaya Jones, and Stanley all had high marks for serve receive.

The team travels to Morton White Pass today (Thursday) for a non league match and hosts Napavine on Tuesday.

The Lady Mules are 1-1.
