Wine tasting and auction benefit set for Sept. 14

Friends of Skamokawa presents “A Cornucopia of Wines” wine-tasting and auction/benefit on September 14 from 6:30-9:30 p.m., at the Skamokawa Grange Hall. Pre-sale tickets are $15.00 for a single and $25.00 per couple. Tickets are also available at the door. Bank of the Pacific, Daisy Chain Floral, Skamokawa Store, and River Life Interpretive Center/Central School/Redmen Hall are selling tickets.

Bidding for silent and live auction items will take place. Items include art by local artists, gift certificates to many local businesses, new and vintage items, vacation stays, gift baskets, glass art, and more.

Don Wages will entertain for the first hour on his dulcimer and Brian McClain is the auctioneer. Enjoy appetizers, wines, crafted beer, water and soda while perusing the tables to bid on special items. This is Friends of Skamokawa’s largest annual fundraiser. The funds raised at this event provide operation and maintenance throughout the year.
