Fall sports practice has begun

WHS Football Wahkiakum High School football coach Eric Hansen runs the Mules through some drills on Tuesday afternoon. The Mules head to the east side of the state on Thursday, in order to play Colfax at Liberty/Spangle High School on Friday for their first game of the season.

WHS Volleyball Nearly 40 athletes have turned out for Wahkiakum High School Volleyball this year. They filled the gym with a lot of energy and will create some good competition for a spot on the varsity team. The Mules will start their season in Longview against R.A. Long on Tuesday.

Cross Country Seven students are running for the Wahkiakum High School Cross Country team this year, including Alex Tantum, left, and Kaiden Ray. Their first league meet is next Tuesday in Onalaska.
