Class Provides training for bereavement volunteers

Community Home Health & Hospice is looking for compassionate volunteers to help with programs in Longview. They are offering a free, 5-hour training class. Tuesday, September 17, and Tuesday, September 24, from 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m., at the James Avery Center 1000 – 12th Ave., Longview. Upon completion of the class, coupled with on-line training, volunteers will be able to help with grief programs (child through adult) or volunteer in other capacities throughout the agency. Community Home Health and Hospice offers free, cutting-edge bereavement services to grieving families, not just those touched by hospice.
