Class Provides training for bereavement volunteers

Community Home Health & Hospice is looking for compassionate volunteers to help with programs in Longview. They are offering a free, 5-hour training class. Tuesday, September 17, and Tuesday, September 24, from 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m., at the James Avery Center 1000 – 12th Ave., Longview. Upon completion of the class, coupled with on-line training, volunteers will be able to help with grief programs (child through adult) or volunteer in other capacities throughout the agency. Community Home Health and Hospice offers free, cutting-edge bereavement services to grieving families, not just those touched by hospice. They have support groups for children, teens, tweens, adults, and special groups for those who have been touched by suicide loss.
