Grease sing-along set for August 31

Enjoy a summer night singing along to Grease! on August 31 at 8 p.m., at the Liberty Theatre, 1203 Commercial St., Astoria. Tickets are $8 general admission.

Leather pants and slicked hair encouraged, but not required. Subtitles provided for anyone that doesn't know all of the words.

A goody two-shoes from Australia falls in love with a greaser over a summer. When her family moves to the boy's hometown, and she enrolls at the same school, they have a difficult time maintaining their relationship.

Belt your heart out and enjoy the kooky gems, like Doody's water gun at the knife fight and Rizzo eating an ice-cream cone in the bathroom.

Free Liberty cup with ticket purchase (a $3 discount in their bar.) Doors open at 7 p.m. Prizes for best costumes. This film contains outdated and/or adult themes and may not be suitable for everyone.
