Shopko and Bi-Mart have paired up to donate 10 backpacks for back to school kids, and there will be a drawing for them at the Wahkiakum County Fair.
There are five backpacks for girls and five backpacks for boys. Each backpack contains two folders, two 70-page, one-subject note books, one composition note book, one pack of markers, 12 No. 2 pencils, a 12-pack of colored pencils, a 24-pack of crayons, a bottle of glue, a pair of scissors, and a pack of erasers.
People can sign up for the drawing in the youth building and at the horse barn. It is free and for children in grades 1-5. People can sign up as many times as they want but they can only win once. Drawing will be held Saturday during the horse show at the Wahkiakum County Fair. Winners will be announced during the lunch break. Need not be present to win. The child's full name, year in school and phone number must be on the paper for the drawing.
