Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891

Ready to sail

Hobie Cat enthusiasts were back at Vista Park for the annual Todd Christenson Memorial Regatta last weekend. The longest race is reserved for the final day, and usually averages about three hours as sailors make their way downriver several miles from Skamokawa before heading back to the park. A little after 11 a.m. on Sunday morning, racers began preparing their boats for a Le Mans start while hoping the wind would pick up.
